Monard, County Cork
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Monard is a planned new settlement situated to the north-west of Cork City in Ireland. It will contain 5,000 new dwellings as well as schools, a medical centre and other facilities. It will be similar in concept to, although smaller in size than Adamstown in Dublin. The settlement will be based on three villages and a town centre, built around the new railway station, located at Rathpeacon siding on the Dublin-Cork mainline.
