In Mohone, there is "Natioal Rayon Corporation" ( Called NRC in short )spread across 500 acres. It has its own school facility, medical hospital and many more things. The NRC Colony was a little paradise between 1960's to 1980's. but as the time passed away people working there got retired and left the company's colony. Today the paradise is just a memory for the people ho hae spent more than 20 years of life in th colony.

Even the students of NRC Colony school have reached to the different heights in life in different parts of the globe. the good times of NRC has unfortunately ended but the memory will be there to the people who hav spent their time of life in the colony.

The popular personalities of NRC Colony Mohone till date were from Colony Hospital, Sports Club and School, e.g from School Principal Pathak sir, Joseph sir, Patil sir for the Flag hoisting Parade etc, from Hospital Patel Doctor, Dr. Ramaswami , from Sports Club Belare Kaka.
