Moffat Beach is a suburb in Caloundra, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Of the same name is Moffat Beach, which is one of the Caloundra beaches.
The suburb & beach was named after James C. Moffat, a chemist from Brisbane, who established a holiday house on Moffat Head in 1883. [1]
