[edit] Verifiability
So far I find no reliable sources to verify this school. I found this, but its merely one person's experience of working at the school. So, while I think its very likely this school was real, I think it fails WP:V. Please add any sources you know of. --Rob 07:28, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 1953 and other info
- 2003 reference to 50th anniversary of opening of school--A Y Arktos 00:05, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- 2002 Environmental Protection Authority ref to building rubble from old Moe High School site --A Y Arktos 00:08, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- Moe residents' stories--A Y Arktos 00:14, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- The school seems to be one of three merged into Lowanna college--A Y Arktos 00:18, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- I did not put them in the article as the prose was in the form of an unverified school song. I was concerned to establish verifiability for the AfD debate. I was not the author of the article. I am concerned that the nominator for AfD took so little trouble to verify any fact. I propose to merge this article into Moe.--A Y Arktos 19:06, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removing material until source is found
I'm removing the following material until sources can be found:
- It operated in 1980; the date that the school opened can be inferred from the school song:
- We began, you'll agree,
- In the year '53,
- In the bush on the verge of Moe.
- In a manner small,
- Not great at all,
- We were not the least bit showy.
- But we worked with a will,
- For culture and skill,
- And the growth of our in-born powers.
- You can keep all the rest,
- We'll stick to the best,
- And the best school of all is ours.
- The school was demolished sometime between 1997 and 2003 to make way for residential development.
