The Model Yachting article is a generic article about model yachting.

The Footy (model yacht) article is about a specific class of model yacht.

Including the Footy (model yacht) article in the Model_yachting article would necessitate all model yacht classes be included in the Model_yachting article for the purpose of completeness. Not a good ideas as there have been hundreds of model yacht classes over the past 100+ years.

Separate article for each model yacht class is best.

Sentiment is toward no merge. Footy (model yacht) has expanded and no longer a stub. Merge flag removed. --Kkmurray 03:07, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
