[edit] David Jones
I don't recall his teleporting has been mentioned in-strip. It's been alluded to twice, but both have the simpler explanation of (1) Dave being a better swimmer than Mike, and (2) Dave running really fast when he's hungry. It's not, to my knowledge, actually been demonstrated that he can teleport. Do you have any evidence? >Radiant< 08:35, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well, if you look at the first two strips where it's mentioned, he disappears (and, in the second case, reappears) literally before another character can even finish a sentence. That's really fast, probably enough to qualify it as a minor power one way or the other (Buffet Time?), since he does it enough that I don't think it's just a one-off punchline. Also, we see that taking off really quickly in water (as Mike does in the bouy strip) leaves a splash, but in the first possible-teleport strip, Dave doesn't do that. He's just *plink*-gone.
- Wow, that's much more comic-dorky than I thought it would be. Mockingbus 09:56, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- It could also be a simple fact of comedy physics. CRFH is pretty tongue-in-cheek at times. Unless there's been a confirmation from the Goddess somewhere, it hasn't been proven anywhere that he can Teleport (also, if he could, why didn't he do so at gunpoint? Would have saved him a lot of trouble). This boils down to original research; we have no reliable source that states he can teleport. >Radiant< 10:30, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe he can't teleport when nervous; I don't know. That's a good point, though, especially considering the storyline (the Goddess said that Spring Freak is one of the light-hearted lines). I'm OK with reducing it to a mention of Buffet Time if you are. =) That takes care of his "moving really really fast when he's hungry" and is at least a good running joke. - Sounds good to me. >Radiant< 07:57, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tilman?
Hi....you carried on a conversation that made it seem like you might be related or involved with user:Tilman. It's not really my place but if you do have access to two accounts please be careful how you use them given all the concern over sockpuppet accounts, etc. Thx. Wikidemo 15:17, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- Huh? Oh... hopping in on your conversation there over about Aleksy. No, I'm not related to him at all. I woke up this morning and noticed the Vayner article's destruction. I did a middling amount of work on it and hate to see it go to waste, so when I saw Tilman post a link to the Answers.com version I thought it would be helpful to at least have it preserved in case we need it for later reference.
