Mobiliary art

Mobiliary art is a term used in archaeology for one of two general categories of paleolithic artifacts produced. Mobiliary art can be moved or transported while parietal art (cave art) cannot be. Because mobiliary art is found in stratified layers when excavated, it is easier to date than parietal art.
