Mobile Tornado PLC is a company that specialises in providing platforms and applications in the mobile data services market including presence-based messaging, push to talk, push to video and related services.

Mobile Tornado was established in 1999 by Eyal Fishler and later on joined by Jorge Pinievsky who became the CEO. Mobile Tornado has been focusing on building converged Voice and Data applications for network operators.
In the year 2000 Mobile Tornado Started the development of Push to Talk over Cellular (PoC), starting with trials using cellular digital packet data and later migrating to Wi-Fi in 2001, CDMA and EVDO in 2002 and GPRS, EDGE and UMTS in 2003.
Since then Mobile Tornado has signed several strategic business partnerships and has been selling mainly to 2nd and 3rd tier operators around the world.
Mobile Tornado became a public company, registered at the Alternative Investment Market (Mobile Tornado PLC) in the London Stock Exchange after a reverse merger with TMT PLC. Mobile tornado owns several patents in this industry.
