[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia & JRT

Not a problem at all in editing. People edit my additions, too; that's the advantage to having many sets of eyes reviewing the material. Because I compete in dog agility, I know quite a few people with JRTs. They're an interesting breed but not for everyone. The goal is to prevent a neutral point of view--that is, present the facts and try to keep opinion out of it. So "perfect pet" is subjective, but identifying that some of their characteristics as pets appeal to some people is closer to the mark. Sorry to hear about the loss of your JRT. Losing a dog at any age it tough, but particularly after they've been with you so long. And you know that there'll never be another dog like that one. I've discovered (now on dog #6) that there can be equally wonderful dogs but they're all completely different and wonderful in different ways and I still sometimes miss the ones who have gone and their special characteristics.

I'll follow this post with my standard "welcome" message-- Elf | Talk 22:09, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
