The image Mizoguchi-Kenji-headshot.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is (possibly) originally copyright, I (AsianAstronaut 21:34, 21 Jun 2004 (UTC)) feel it is covered by fair use because:

It is a low resolution copy of an original photograph;
it's inclusion in the article in no way limits the copyright owner's rights;
the photo is only being used for informational purposes;
it's inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because it shows the subject of the article;
it's probably public domain anyways.
