Miyako (Miyako: mjaakuftsï) is a language spoken by an unknown number of people in the Miyako islands (including Miyako Island), south of Okinawa Island. It is a Ryukyuan language, most closely related to Yaeyama.
It can be separated into several dialect groupings, such as Miyako main island, Irabu, Ikema, Ōgami and Tarama.
