Hi, Mitchan. I saw that you had started this article, and that your talk page didn't exist yet, so I just stopped by to say hello.

I do have one question about "Berger codes". The first sentence says "… a Berger code is an unidirectional error correcting code," The last sentence says " Berger codes cannot correct any error." So I find that a little confusing. I think the truth is that a Berger code is like parity-checking – errors can be detected, but not corrected.

Anyway, I'm curious – do you intend to add more to this article in the near future? Thanks! DavidCBryant 00:09, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Berger codes

I got your message. Thanks for fixing that up, Mitchan. I noticed the article because it showed up on the new math articles list. If you're interested in helping to review new articles about mathematics, you might want to look at it once in a while. And if you're interested in mathematics in general you might want to participate on this talk page. Have a great day! DavidCBryant 22:05, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
