The 1968 Pacific hurricane season started on June 20, when the Norwegian ship Kolfinn found a tropical storm in the Pacific near Mexico. The storm was named Annette and made landfall near Manazillo on June 21. Annette dissipated over land. [1]

Tropical Storm Bonny formed from a depression which originated on July 3. The depression strengthened into a storm the next day. Bonnie dissipated on July 7 out in the Pacific Ocean.
