[edit] Art Movie?

Could Mitr, My Friend be classified as an art film, like most of Satyajit Ray's and Shyam Benegal's films? I'm guessing that, like art films, it has no song-and-dance numbers. Also, like art films, it seems to reflect the culture of the area described. It also seems to be (essentially) intellectual entertainment. --Kuaichik 19:40, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

No, I dont think it classifies as an art film. More of the drama genre. -- thunderboltza.k.a.Deepu Joseph |TALK07:36, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
