Mitsuya Cider (三ツ矢サイダー Mitsuya saidā?) is a Japanese carbonated soft drink, produced by Asahi Breweries. The basic flavor is somewhat similar to Sprite (but less sweet), but it is also has come out with additional flavors, which include grape, lemon, mikan and white peach. Occasionally, Mitsuya Cider will release its "White Cider" version with its own variations, includes "White Cider with Melon".
Mitsuya Cider used to be sold exclusively in ornately decorated metal bottles, but is now produced primarily in plastic. The old style metal bottles are still available for nostalgic consumers.
Also on the market, there are small hard candies marked with the same logo as the cider bottles. The candies do have somewhat of a carbonation as well as the drinks, which adds to their appeal.
