Mitsubishi introduced the Mitsubishi Colt Rodeo strong bakkie (truck) in the Southern part of Africa in 1991 when it introduced the Mitsubishi Pajero Second Generation. South Africa being a truck (or bakkie as they call them) contributed a lot to the Mitsubishi Motors.
