Mitch Greenlick (born April 12th, 1935) is a Democratic politician from the U.S. state of Oregon. He represents District 33 of the Oregon House of Representatives. In the 2007 legislative session, he served as chair of the House Health Care Committee and its Health Care Access Subcommittee, and as a member of the House Education Committee and Higher Education Subcommittee. In past years, he has served on the House Transportation, Land Use, Environment and Rules committees.
Greenlick represents the people of Northwest Portland and Northern Washington County, which includes the communities of Helvetia, North Bethany and Cedar Mill. Greenlick is currently serving his third term in the Oregon House of Representatives after receiving 70% of the vote in the 2006 General Election.[1]
Greenlick is a graduate of Wayne State University and received a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Before serving in the Legislature, he directed the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research in Portland, Oregon, and served as Professor and Chair of Public Health and Preventive Medicine in the School of Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University.
