Image of a poster advertising an anti-war meeting in Barcelona on the eve of the Spanish Civil War.

Rationale: Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws, and the stricter requirements of Wikipedia's non-free content policies, because:

  1. It is a historically significant image of an event that was to take place on the eve of war.
  2. It acts as source material for further historical investigation into the people and organisations who were participants.
  3. It is of much lower resolution than the original. Copies made from it will be of very inferior quality.
