Completely inactive for nine months. Not much use, therefore, for "current events" – Qxz 03:21, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

• Delete. I don't agree this needed to be created in the first place. "Current events" is not a common category of article, as opposed to defined subjects. For instance, a medicine-related current event could easily be added under the medicine subpage of Wikipedia:Requested articles. • Delete - Per the project talk page, the project page was created in March 2006 for new current-events related articles. Activity on the projected lasted to May 2006. The topics on the page are no longer current. The page apparently did not result in the creation of more than a few articles and editors seem to have lost interest in using the page. Since the page did not really meet its objective and there is little interest in using the page, delete seems appropriate. -- Jreferee 21:26, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
