[edit] Wikipedia:Deceased Wikipedians
I really think this is better off on meta. A good number of the users listed here are not native to en.wiki therefore I feel this should be exported from en.wikipedia and imported to meta.wikimedia -- Cat chi? 16:00, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep. The idea of placing some of this material on Meta may have merit, but many En users are not familiar with Meta and do not frequently visit there. I would also like to suggest that the nominator consider withdrawing this nomination and raising his suggestion on the talkpage of the Deceased Wikipedians page, as I believe having the deletion notice on the top of an in memoriam page for 5 days may appear insensitive. - Delete. I think it is a rather odd violation of user's privacy. Wikipedians, unlike the content they write, are not attention-worthy, including their deaths. --Irpen 16:17, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

- Keep and ensure only ref'd individuals or individuals whose families have proven they were wikipedians and are deceased are included (and we do a good job on this already), SqueakBox 16:34, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
