The result of the debate was Delete. If the user later resurfaces, I'll happy restore the content at his request (for conversion to other medium, like paper, only). Xoloz 14:32, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User:Toymart
Delete. Blatant advertising. The user name is the name of the company. --Bruce1ee 13:59, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- This does seem to be an inappropriate use of the userspace. The user's contribution history doesn't encourage me either. But I note that this is a very new user. The account was only created this morning. I recommend speedy-closing this deletion discussion and attempting to counsel the user on his/her Talk page first. If the user reforms and begins making valuable contributions to the encyclopedia, we allow some discretion on userpages. Rossami (talk) 14:31, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- Urge hold on decision until ~July 6. Rossami has put a note on his talk page. I would just wait a few days and see if there is any reaction. If none, delete. I would actually counsel a username change too. Martinp 17:25, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- Speedy close for a week per Rossami / Martinp, WP:BITE. ~ PseudoSudo 19:15, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- Delete if, after contact has been made with the user, the page hasn't been cleaned up/advertising removed. Give them a suitable time-limit, though. Could add {{ PotentialVanity }}EVOCATIVEINTRIGUE TALKTOME | EMAILME | IMPROVEME 19:19, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- NoteAs long as we DONT SPEEDY CLOSE this it will have 8 days to be debated. — xaosflux Talk 23:51, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- And this is a British company, or at least a British website, so thy're not being forced to act over a holiday. Septentrionalis 13:33, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- Delete, advertising, give it a few more days for the user to remove it. --Terence Ong (Chat | Contribs) 13:15, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- Delete spam, until the user actually contributes to the project I see no reason for them to have this page. Looks like account was just made to advertise.--Andeh 12:41, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
- Delete spam, yes, but so far I thought that "users for deletion" is technically impossible, otherwise all those !!!!!!!!! are far worse than this. -- Omniplex 13:10, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- We can't delete the user, only block him; but we can certainly delete the userpage. If you want to delete some of these, list them here. Septentrionalis 13:35, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
