User seems to be attempting to use his Wikipedia user page as a sort of resumé. Per WP:NOT#WEBSPACE, I propose deletion of this page. Tuvok[^T@lk/_{Improve me}] 05:00, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

• Strong keep. This person has only been editing a few days and may not know that this looks like a vanity article. They might have seen other articles about people and thought that's what their user page should look like. If someone thought the page was inappropriate, then a note should have been left, rather than potentially scaring them off by proposing deletion of their user space. I'll go drop a welcome note. • Keep for now. I agree this violates WP:NOT but this user is new to wikipedia. Instead of deleting this user page we should leave a message on this users talk page telling him what he is allowed to have on his talk page and ask him to change it. If he does not change it in the next 2 weeks then we can delete it. We need to follow WP:BITE. If we go and delete it, we could be losing future Gracenotes, or the future Hut 8.5. • Abstain, courteously These should be brought to the attention of the user in question first to make them aware of the policies. By bringing straight to MfD, we are not assuming good faith nor welcoming a newbie. The user has no history of blatant vandalism or side-stepping the rules.
