[edit] Article name

I've moved this article once already but I still don't think it should be "elections" in the name. It should be "election" without the 's'. Someone else can fix it though... -- ALLSTARecho 17:56, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Looks like the standard form for House special elections is "State's Xth congressional district special election, 200#". I'll go ahead and move this there, but I'll revert if there are any objections. Ashdog137 (talk) 18:00, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Ha! Nevermind, DrWho1975 beat me to it.  :) Ashdog137 (talk) 18:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Election results tables

Can anyone create election result tables for the different elections in this article? We now have the exact results of the April 22 election linked to this article. Steelbeard1 (talk) 16:28, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for putting this request on the talk page... If nobody gets to it in the next week I'll see if I can find the time to do it. I've promised to make a huge table for another page first.--Dr who1975 (talk) 21:57, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Newspaper endorsements

I found a source stating that three major papers had endorsed Childers. I verified each endorsement and added the information, with citations.

The source also stated, "I have yet to see any publication of note in Mississippi give its endorsement to Davis." [1] I'm not confident relying on that to assert that Davis has no such endorsements, so I didn't include that. JamesMLane t c 19:52, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Projected Winner

Childers is winner. See: http://www.djournal.com/pages/election2008.asp Put "winner" next to his name 64.252.44.21 (talk) 02:31, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

thanks for letting us know.--Dr who1975 (talk) 04:17, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
