Miss Hmong Michigan

Miss Hmong Michigan is a beauty pageant established in the fall of 2004 by the Hmong Michigan New Year Festival Committee. It is open to any Michigan female resident between the ages of 16 and 25 who is of the Hmong ethnicity.
The first pageant was held at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan the fall of 2004. Mailee Chang of Lansing, Michigan won the title, beating out Elizabeth Vang.
The second pageant was held at the Michigan State Fairgrounds in Detroit, Michigan the fall of 2005. Choua Kue of Grand Blanc, Michigan won the title. Sue Lee won first runner-up. Cynthia Lee of St. Johns, Michigan won Miss Photogenic.
The third pageant was held at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan the fall of 2006. Sandy Vang of Warren, Michigan beat out Holly Yang for the title.
The most recent pageant was held at the Michigan State Fairgrounds in Detroit, Michigan in November of 2007. Nee Lee of Lansing, Michigan bested Hlee Xiong for the title.
