I did a copyedit, but we still have a lot of red links, the article is unsourced, and we may have a POV problem. I do not have enough knowlede of the content to do much more. As a U.S. citizen in fundamental disagreement with the goals, philosophies, and tactics of both the Taliban and Al-Queda, I must recuse myself on the "notability" of the article. I tried very hard to make editorial changes to improve it without changing the original editor's intent. - Arch dude 01:29, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

I did a secon round of edits. I hope the result is valid. If an expert (or even an informed non-experts with a different perspective) chooses to alter or improve my edits, I would deeply appreciate it if you can explain any errors I have made.
