Mirror Canon

In a Mirror Canon (or canon by contrary motion), the subsequent voice imitates the initial voice in inversion. Although they are not very common, examples of mirror canons can be traced to Bach, Mozart (e.g., the trio from Serenade for Wind Octet in C, K. 388), and other composers.
