Description

Simulation of Miranda eclipsing the Sun as seen from Uranus on 2007 January 22nd. Miranda has an orbit with an inclination of 4.2° to Uranus' equator. In January 2007, while approaching the December 7th, 2007 equinox, Miranda produced brief solar eclipses over the center of Uranus. (This image is cropped from the source image.)
