[edit] The Name Change

I heard that when they changed the name, they offered a prize to anyone who could find the phrase, or logo of Enron in Minute Maid Park. Can anyone provide any information on this? I think its a hillarious little detail. -- Theycallmemorty 15:28, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The Roof

ESPN is running a story that Bud Selig wants the roof open for the World Series but there might be bad weather for those nights in Houston. Does anyone know how long it takes to open/close the roof in case there is bad weather?

Just about 20 minutes, if I recall correctly. --bbatsell | « give me a ring » 03:47, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
"12-20 minutes", according to the Astros' website. --bbatsell | « give me a ring » 03:50, 25 October 2005 (UTC) Yet i wonder...
I'm waiting for the conspiracists to suggest that MLB is doing everything it can to make sure the White Sox win. Wahkeenah 12:56, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Tal's Hill

This article says that Tal's Hill is a 10-degree incline. The Tal's Hill article says it's 30 degrees. This sounds like an inconsistancy. Is it? If so, what is the real value? --Amoore 04:38, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

If you've seen it on TV recently, it is definitely more than 10 degrees. It's also an abomination, but that's another story. Wahkeenah 12:54, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

I've added the following reference which states that the incline is 30 degrees, and also verifies other facts in the article:

[edit] Astros No hitter

6/11/2003 Astros over Yankees 8-0[[1]]

This no-hitter occurred at Yankee stadium. The Astros have not thrown a no-hitter at minute maid park.Cjosefy 15:48, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Text

Why is all the text crammed into the infobox? I can't figure out what went wrong with the formatting. SCHZMO 18:24, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge from Tal's Hill

I've merged Tal's Hill to Minute Maid Park. Quarl (talk) 2007-02-28 10:01Z

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MinuteMaidParkLogo150.PNG

Image:MinuteMaidParkLogo150.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
