Lyle, Minnesota c.1910 Lyle is a city in Mower County, Minnesota in Lyle Township. Most of the town lies within a mile of the Iowa border, the state line being the southern border. The population was 566 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.0 km²), all of it land. As of the census2 of 2000, there were 566 people, 211 households, and 148 families residing in the city. (Full article)
