Minimplants

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Minimplants (a portmanteau of minimum and implants) describes a category of implants inserted into people or animals that require minimal surgery or healing to achieve their biological goal. They exist mostly in Medical, Dental and Veterinarian applications [1]. With further advances in minimal surgical techniques and keyhole surgery, their use is poised to expand greatly in the next decade.
