MINDS

Initiated as EU-funded project in 2004, MINDS International (Mobile Information and News Data Services) has been founded as an association in fall 2007 by 11 leading news agencies from Europe and the USA. MINDS International will act as a research and development unit for innovations in the field of digital information and communication solutions suitable for the media industry and will strongly support technology exchange between the agencies.

In future MINDS will support the exchange of knowledge and technology between its partners and help them to capitalise innovative business models in their specific markets. Emphasis will be on enhancing the network especially with partners from advanced digital news markets such as Asia.

The MINDS network, which is constantly growing, consists of the following agency partners at present:

MINDS’ Mission Statement: MINDS International is a network and platform of equal news agencies sharing ideas and exchanging knowledge to put business concepts forward in order to raise revenues and save costs in digital markets.
