Mimi Woods
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mimi J. Woods is a retired voice actress who had acted primarily in anime dubbing. She was the voice of Motoko Kusanagi in the original Ghost in the Shell film and video game. She had also acted in anime shows such as El Hazard, Macross II: Lovers Again and Macross Plus. She was also credited as Mimi J. Davies and M.J. Davis.
As of now, she is no longer acting in any type of medium and not much information is available on Woods. The last voiceover job she was featured in was the English version of the video game The Bouncer, which was released in 2001. As a point of interest, her role in The Bouncer is that of a television news anchor. In the English language version, the anchor's name that appears on screen is Mimi Woods.
Her last role was in the English dub of the movie Appleseed (film) (2005) where she played the voice of Nike alongside Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who had replaced her as Kusanagi.
