Is the mission statement here appropriate? It sounds like an ad, so I'm getting rid of it M0rt 01:29, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Got rid of it again. Mission statements always seem like utterly non-notable marketing tripe; I've never seen a mission statement that isn't. I nearly always remove them on sight. --Closeapple (talk) 03:36, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Are Eric Kohn and Matthew Sprague particularly notable? I'm not sure they should be included here. Tim Messer 22:58, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

Seeing no objections, I've removed those listings. If anyone can explain why they should be included, please do. Tim Messer 20:57, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

Seems like there's no actual information on the school on the website as of 3/12/06 - just a whole bunch of information on ghosts. Anyone want to update it with information?

Thanks.

This is ridiculous. Someone get rid of the ghost references. As for more information on the school, my friend goes there and I can tell you it's one of the more liberal campuses in Illinois and also probably one of the more expensive ones in the state as well. [edit] Ghost--removal

In interest of lack of citation and empirical evidence otheriwise, I edited out the reference to ghosts at millikin. I do not feel that the schools wiki entry is well served by apocryphal entries. Does anyone agree? If anyone can substanitate the claims with citations, feel free to add them back. I am not trying to be combative, just reasonable.--Frenkmelk 04:25, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

I performed an exorcism of the last remaining ghost sentence. There were no citations or sources for the strange claims; unless someone can show reliable sources that Millikin is known for ghosts, it shouldn't be there in my opinion. --Closeapple 06:54, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

Ouch. It hurts to find you're not "particularly notable" (though it was Eric's handiwork, folks). Still, good to see my George Irish, Michael Waller and George Musso postings have stayed up. - M.S. Bold text
