Talk:Milk bottle top
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I had some trouble trying to think of a name for this article. I'm not satisfied with Milk bottle top but I can't think of anything better. I have a feeling it should be moved to somewhere more appropriate, so if anybody has any ideas you know what to do.
Perhaps make it's own section in the milk article...also, here in the states, the colors are: whole (or vitaminD) is red; 2% is blue; and I beleive that skim is green. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.131.9.219 (talk) 19:51, August 25, 2007 (UTC)
Right, I think it's time this article is developed to it's rightful status as featured article. I'll work on references and getting some photos of UK bottles - if people in other countries could get some of theirs that would be great. M 79.72.174.96 (talk) 00:28, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Its wrong, the silver foil in the UK on a glass bottle is used for semi skimmed not skimmed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.11.225.12 (talk) 11:35, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
I can confirm that my Semi-skimmed Milk delivered in a glass bottle by a traditional milkman has a red and white striped top. Unisouth (talk) 17:06, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
OK I updated the UK milk top colours and added some references, but not in a very 'clean' way - if anyone can find a better way to do it please change it. Thanks LHMike (talk) 17:46, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
