This is a very tricky topic because of the great difficulty of verification. In this particular case, there's a simple answer: Ko Lay gives it as the 18th, but the VRI have it as the 16th. More generally, however, there are a variety of ordersin use in Burma. For the record, the actual order of recitation of the Canon at the 6th Council was Vin D M S A Abhidhamma Khp Dhp Ud It Sn Vv Pv Thag Thig Ap Bv Cp Nd J Pts Net Pet Mil. However, this is original research, as far as I know. Presumably the 1st edition, published piecemeal during the council, followed this order. I don't know about the 1956 edn.
