Dr. Milton H. Hallman is a Professor Emeritus of music at Louisiana State University. He was a student of Ernst von Dohnányi and recorded a CD called Works For Piano containing some of Dohnányi's most notable music in 1987.
He is the author of Facing the Music: An Invitation to Active Listening Enjoyment (ISBN 0-536-59495-3) and he has also written widely in support of Colin Wilson and the New Existentialism.
