Millswood railway Station (), closed in April 1995, is situated immediately southeast of the Goodwood Road underpass, on the border between Millswood and Kings Park, 5.9 km from Adelaide Railway Station on the Belair Railway Line. The station probably opened in the 1910s[citation needed] and consisted of earth-filled concrete faced platforms each side of the dual tracks, which were both broad gauge until 1995. There were timber framed, iron clad open passenger shelters on each platform. There is a shelter (the seats are gone though) and a disused speaker (for announcing stations) on the Down (eastern) platform.
A ticket office was provided on the Up (western) platform. In the second half of 1974 it was open between 6:15am to 1:05pm Mondays, 6:15am to 12:20pm Tuesday to Friday and 7:30am to 12:20pm Saturday.
The western platform was demolished in 2007.
On all Adelaide Metro rail network maps (in most carriages), you can see the gaps on the Belair line map where this, and other disused stations on the Belair line, have been removed.
