A Hewland International production, Mile High is a mix of fast-paced drama, sex and comedy. [edit] Return to TV

In early 2007 Jane Hewland of Hewland International hinted of a return of Mile High to UK broadcast in 2007. It was believed to be returning on Channel 4 rather than Sky One as Series 1 and 2 were. In the Dream Team episode "Pains, Gains and Automobiles," (a Parody of Planes, Trains and Automobiles) Gemma Craig is seen watching an advert for Fresh!, the airline of which Mile High is based around - this was the first on-air hint of its return.

After speaking directly to Hewland International, the return of Mile High has now been dismissed. The conclusion reached was, like many series after such a gap in production, that the reality of trying to get original cast members back together for a new series would be very unlikely.

Some of the cast have now gone on to appear regularly in other shows. Jo-Anne Knowles appeared as a regular in ITV's The Bill, James Redmond who played Jason now stars in Casualty and Luke Roberts who played Captain Dan Peterson stars in its spin-off show Holby City. Christopher Villiers (Captain Nigel Croker) is a regular cast member in Emmerdale, whereas John Pickard (Jack Fields) appears in Hollyoaks.
