[edit] About editing articles
Hi and welcome! Thank you for your contribution! Please be aware that, unlike talk pages, it is not appropriate to sign articles that you write. The edit history already keeps that information, and it distracts from the actual article. Good editing! I look forward to your further contributions. Coren 02:08, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Silly me, and I thought having the symbol below the edit window meant you were supposed to use it.
[edit] Ruth Coleman (actress)
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Ruth Coleman (actress), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Soap
Hi there...Thx for your edits on the Soap article. I removed the wikilink to Detergents which you added to the 3rd paragraph since it redirects to Detergent which is already linked to in the 1st paragraph. Please see Wikipedia:Tutorial (Wikipedia links) which suggests that *usually* only the 1st occurrence of a word is wikilinked. Thanks, though for your efforts and happy editing! [edit] Bronze
I reverted one of your edits to the page for Bronze. I'm not sure why you made it in the first place. It was more specific before the change, and still true. If you still think it should be changed, feel free to discuss it in more length on the talk page for Bronze. - Shaheenjim 11:09, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Uthium
A tag has been placed on Uthium, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- ALLSTARecho 09:28, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Uthium
A tag has been placed on Uthium requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
