I've been a Wikipedian since 2006-01-01.
I'm a computational linguist at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, USA. I used to work in the area of computational modeling of human language acquisition, but now I'm trying to develop practical computational tools to further the democratization of information and knowledge.
I know quite a lot about a number of languages, especially Ethiopian languages, and for now I'll mostly be making contributions there and on Mayan languages, which I'm in the process of learning about. I'll also be working on articles related to social forums and the alternative globalization movement.
