[edit] Why he *really* left the band

In the book "Rivers' Edge: The Weezer Story" by John D. Luerssen, it's speculated that Mikey's departure from Weezer was at Rivers Cuomo's doing, not necessarily because of any problems Mikey was experiencing at the time. That might be worth noting. I'll see if I can dig up my copy of the book and reference it. Themikeg 18:23, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

According to the drummer from Danko Jones, he left the band because of a problem with handling the fame, kind of what Kurt Cobain was said to suffer from. Though I've no idea how reliable he is a source. -194.80.32.12 21:37, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Outsider artist

Did the author who wrote that actually follow the link to see what outsider art is? I see nothing in the article that describes why he's an outsider artist, nor a defense of this claim. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.45.39.194 (talk) 01:44, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
