Mike really needs a proper biographical treatment. At the very least it's missing the other highlights of his A Current Affair career: the Cangai Siege scandal, and his ignominious drunken downfall. Just some notes for the future.

In addition to his career in the media, Willessee also had an involvement with racehorses, at one time owning the Trans Media Stud at Cootamundra, NSW. The stud was disbanded in 1995.
