I recently read something about Mike Stone possible being dead, but I have yet to unearth a single news story about it. Does anyone know if he is still with us? Another question... Abbey Road studios had an early assistant engineer by the name of Mike Stone, who even worked on a number of Beatles sessions in the second half of the 60's... does anyone know whether or not this is the same fella? Found out he is dead... having trouble finding the actual date or cause if anyone can figure it out. I am thinking it is the same Mike Stone who was an assistant engineer at Abbey Road studios when the Beatles were recording there. I haven't confirmed it yet, but I did connect him to EMI in the 70's and I do see a lot of credits with Ken Scott, who was also at Abbey Road studios and worked on some Beatles Records. Would be a nice thing to add to his bio if we can find confirmation of it. Audiori 05:31, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm also wondering if this is the same Mike Stone that started Clay Records? Audiori 02:10, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
