FYI: the page update adding Minter's retirement announcement was made by Rod Turnham (rturnham@yahoo.com) approximately two hours after the event, based on a newspaper report written by the staff of The Charlotte Observer and posted on Charlotte.com. Considerable additional detail was available, but not included, to keep this posting brief. Further refinements of this quick-reaction update are WELCOMED! 168.215.142.85 19:52, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
