[edit] Mike on Wikipedia
I'm removing the stuff about Mike Greenberg mentioning his WP article in order to avoid self-reference. His mention of Wikipedia isn't made notable by the fact that this is Wikipedia. --Sneftel 23:20, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, Meegs just did, so nevermind. I'll get you next time, Meegs! NEXT TIME! --Sneftel 23:21, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV?
This page smacks POV. "This sickeningly politically correct approach is part of what makes them the least hard-hitting show on the radio"? You've got to be kidding me.
- Never trust one version of a highly edited page on Wikipedia. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 09:44, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] UH-OH!
oh noes! Greeny said wikipedia was worthless! Where's teh angst?! where's the rioting??? he didnt even mention your god-king, "jimbo" wales!
- I love the show but that was a bad move, incidentally today he used it as a reference and even took it pretty seriously. He looked up the Vegan article and quoted from it. He pronounced it Vay-gen though. Quadzilla99 11:55, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- That show is as bad as his nose-job. I can stand Golic, but Greenberg is the worst. --Endlessdan 16:32, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, but "Said morning show happens to be one of the worst things on television today" represents a POV. Removed said comment rather than NPOV it. Remember, this is supposed to be an encyclopedia, not a place to vent personal views about any personality, no matter how "worst" you think they are. EdinPasCA 02:49, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV?
This comment, "However, many pundits question whether this tandem is cut out for an NFL broadcast, or if they are simply an ESPN creation better left for their usual morning slot", violates the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons guidelines. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons Read the 2nd paragraph under the box heading. This "pundits" comment isn't verified in any way. [edit] Baseball commissioner?
I have questions about the item, "Announced on April 18, 2006 his desire to be the next MLB commissioner when Bud Selig's contract ends in 2009." I left it in because it is properly cited, but I wonder. Is this a real desire to be commissioner, or is it just an opinion piece on Greenberg's blog? Many sportscasters and columnists have written about "what I would do if I were the commissioner." — Michael J 11:57, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Father
Is Mike Greenberg the son of Peter Greenberg? I believe so. preceding comment moved (but not made) by Chickenmonkey (talk)
