Mike Westhoff

Mike Westhoff is currently out of football while trying to rehab from surgery on his leg. He stepped down as the special teams coach for the New York Jets in December 2007 after the final game. Westhoff joined the Jets staff in 2001 after spending the previous 15 seasons in a similar capacity with the Miami Dolphins. He used a cane on the practice field and in games due to battles with bone cancer. He was widely considered one of the very best ST coaches in the NFL. Westhoff is a native of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.[1]
