Michael Anthony Vitar (born December 21, 1978) is an American child actor most notably appearing in The Sandlot as Benny "the Jet" Rodriguez. At the end of that film, the older version of his character was played by his brother, Pablo. Mike started his acting career at the age of twelve, and has been acting ever since. In addition to his brother, Mike has an older sister as well, named Elizabeth. He has recently been seen in 2002 as a successful firefighter in Hollywood. He also played Luis Mendoza in The Mighty Ducks films. He currently lives in California. He attended St. Francis High School in La Cañada, California. He was married in 2007, and later that year became a father.
