Mike Roberts was a popular South Florida disc jockey during the late 70's and through the 1980's....He worked at such stations as WJNO in West Palm Beach; WKAO also in West Palm and WFUN in South Miami...

His longest stint was at WFTL in Ft Lauderdale, where he served as air personality as well as program and music director.

His show was marked by a New York 'hipness' combined with a love for Sinatra and the New York Mets.

His closing phrase "Stay Close" is still remembered fondly by his loyal audience.

In 1991, Roberts retired from broadcasting and now is Assistant Director of Admissions at Linoln College in West Palm Beach.
