Mike O'Donnell (born Limerick Ireland 20 September 1939) is an Irish film and TV composer; his main claim to fame was writing the scores for the children's TV series Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends (between 1984 and 2003) and TUGS, the score for the movie That Summer of White Roses and the opening theme to Magic Adventures of Mumfie with his partner Junior Campbell. He is also a bass guitarist member of Gold. He lives in Shepperton with his wife Laura and has two daughters.
