Mike DeNunzio

Mike DeNunzio (born September 21, 1937) was the Chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party, is the Chairman of Development Services Group Inc., and was the unsuccessful Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress in California's 8th congressional district against incumbent Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi in 2006. He received only 10% of the vote, just a few points ahead of their Green Party opponent, while Pelosi was able to be elected Speaker of the United States House of Representatives as the Democrats took over Congress.
DeNunzio is the Finance Chairman and Commissioner on Aging in the city of San Francisco. He is also a former army reservist.
DeNunzio has been a force in San Francisco politics, despite being a conservative in one of the most liberal districts in the country. DeNunzio supports the Iraq War, border control, and tax cuts.[citation needed]
